Verve is a Web3 streaming platform focussed on creator satisfaction and rewards. I was tasked with creating the MVP in the form of a Next.js web app using Express servers and a multitude of AWS services to enable seamless streaming functionality within the app. In addition to this, I efficiently implemented crypto wallet backend functionality using the Velas blockchain and began designing the algorithm that would determine how users are paid on the platform.

I contributed to the design/branding system and the UI kit that would end up forming the frontend of the site, along with an informative and on-brand landing page to greet new users.

Inishishi Izakaya is a Japanese restaurant located close to Bristol, UK. They hired me on a long-term basis to incrementally improve their marketing material, online presence and implement a digital menu app for their restaurant.

I built upon the MVP for Stocknet Institute, an online trading platform. I efficiently created three UI systems (platform, marketing, and landing page) to enhance the overall user journey. This comprehensive approach significantly increased user engagement from under 10,000 to over 18,000 weekly active users, as tracked in Amplitude, drastically increasing plans sales and company revenue.

The web app is built using Next.js, an industry standard server-side or static rendered JavaScript web framework. Throughout the project, I addressed tickets and implemented infrastructure improvements, optimising platform performance and scalability across multiple systems. This multifaceted approach allowed me to progress on both visual and technical aspects while managing urgent tasks effectively.

I created the MVP for Rostar, a boutique live music agency based in London. Managing to work around their limited budget, I completed the project in a couple of weeks providing a design/branding system in Figma and Storybook UI containing a multitude reusable of visual components for the web app, marketing emails and socials.

The designs were developed into a Full-Stack web app using Astro, an enterprise-grade SEO driven web framework allowing for the use of multiple JavaScript UI libraries in tandem, along with sever-side rendering capabilities to fetch artist data from a database created for the clients to manage with a Contentful CMS page. This means page copy and media can easily be managed without my support. The goal for this project was to ensure everything was in place so the site can be incrementally built upon over time.
